Camp Edwards (Cotuit),Cape Cod, Massachusetts
This photograph, taken at a tent camp near Cotuit, Cape Cod, Massachusetts in November 1942, features recruits of what would eventually be called the 533rd EB&SR. The camp (renamed Canduit) was moved here from Camp Edwards to get the men closer to the landing craft pool. Cold nights and an occaisional tent fire kept life interesting. The 533rd would be in Florida a short time after this picture was taken. L to R Henry Moeller, Carl Kneebone, ?, and John Denlinger.
